The Duchy Athletics Network took the opportunity to promote the work of Run England at the Marazion 10k and to sign-up as many runners as it could, to ensure they benefitted from the free membership which gives them offers on kit, training advice and event updates and a fortnightly eNewsletter.
Smashing time for Herne Hill Harriers at Chichester 10K
The Herne Hill Harriers produced some fine individual performances at the annual Chichester Priory 10K on 5 February to win second team prize and smash a number of personal records in the process. The three-man team was led home by Chris Busaileh, who finished in 8th place, clocking 30.20 minutes, just 3 seconds outside of his personal best.

S Factor Athletics Club receive Clubmark Accreditation
On a freezing evening in February the young athletes of S Factor Athletics Club were not deterred by the minus temperatures and got on with their training session at Ladywell Arena in the London borough of Lewisham. Club Secretary Jaishree Solanke expressed her surprise that so many athletes had turned up and commented “this is typical of them they come here to meet their friends and mix with kids who go to different schools – we have a real sense of community in this club, the cold won’t stop them!” .
