At the UKA Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday 29 November, we won
the Power of 10 Award for Throws. I believe that this is based on the Po10
performances by the Club's junior and young athletes, although the judging
process appears to be far from transparent! Congratulations to all those
involved, and especially to Shaunagh and Andrew who head their respective Po10
ranking lists. 1-12-08

2008 National Young Athletes Final - Well done to all...

2008
T&F Leagues:
We are the National Junior Champions
again
he Junior Women win the National Title
for the third time and finish 7th in the European Finals
The Junior Men take runners-up position
The Women won promotion this year to Division Two of the
UK Women's League
The Senior Men will also be in Division Two of
the British League
The Female Veterans team are runners-up in the
Kent Division
The Male Veterans team are champions of the
Kent Division
& SCVAC Area champions
The Young Athletes
team, after years at the top, ended up runner-up in the National Final
