Today we had 20 runners in the Cabbage Patch 10, including first lady in her vet class for Clare ( not bad for a first effort ), and as teams achieved 16th, 57th and 90th out of 123 for the men and 15th, 44th and 69th for the ladies out of 93. Meanwhile Ken was first vet, 4th overall at the 24 hour race at tooting bec, and PBs from the marathon runners in Cardiff Mark L, Andy R and Jonathon. Finally representing us in Essex was Mel at the Tiptree 10. Blimey. In order to allow Vogue to carry out their work in an uninterrupted and efficient manner, we have been asked that runners please avoid using the ladies changing areas throughout the day. Also to not use the the men's changing areas, or the back area of the bar as well as the front area which will be closed, please also avoid obstructing the line of sight along the front of the club by not using Foxgrove Avenue unless absolutely necessary. Note: Exceptions will be made for members who are, or consider themselves, particularly fit or attractive, and can 'blend in' on the day. Security passes can be applied for by sending a passport sized photo, brief description, and the times/areas requested. Craig has all the details! 28.6.05 After the success at the Caledonian we now have 'extreme' Ken completing in just under 24 hours the Western States Endurance - described as one of the worlds toughest trails with an initial climb of 2,500 feet.
