Introduction to Kent AC

Looking for a local running club in South East London? Then you've come to the right place! Despite our name, we are a London running and athletics club.

Kent AC is an old and established athletics club. We are one of South London's top athletics and running clubs. We are based at Ladywell Track Lewisham only 15 mins from Central London. We regularly compete on road, cross-country and track.

Track and field Athletics - In 2008 we had another successful year on the track with our A team finishing 3rd in British League Division 1 our highest ever position that now ranks at number 11 of athletics clubs in Great Britain. Our B team competes in the Southern League division 1 maintaining our status in this league during the 2008 campaign, mainly through the use of our exceptional batch of young athletes.

Road Racing - Kent AC finished in the top 20 in the last National 6 stage and the National 12 stage relays, and were the Assembly League champions in 2005.

Cross Country Running - we hold our own across a full range of fixtures last winter, after oour best ever season in 2006/07 with the highlight being placed 8th in the National CC Champs in Sunderland with 2 finishers in the top 8. We have a strong vets section and won the Kent County M40 XC Championships in 2007 and 2008.

To e-mail us for membership details, see membership page. We cater for men and ladies of all abilities from the fun runner wanting to get fit, to the serious international athlete. Please refer to our training page for details of when we train at our Ladywell track.
