Thank you to all those who contributed to my brother's spikes appeal. I visited the village secondary school in Ghana in May and handed over approx 15 pair of spikes shoes. The headmaster held a meeting with all the teachers and l presented the shoes. They couldn't believe what we have done as it was unexpected. Words can not describe how appreciated they all were. My family and l were so overwhelmed by the welcome and warmth that we forgot to take some pictures at the time of the ceremony.
Please continue with your contributions and all reasonable shoes, spikes are welcome. Basically, keep them coming. Thank you.
Here are some pictures we took of my kids with my dad (he's 103yrs old) and my brother's son and some villagers.
