Cross Country

We compete in various Masters XC events including the Kent Vets XC Championships and the Southern Vets XC championships. We are currently Kent Vets M40 Champions and we came 3rd in the Southern M40 Champs despite our leading M40 runner being ill.

Track & Field Athletics

We take part in the Kent Vets league and Kent Vets Champs. We have had M40 athletes representing Great Britain & NI in masters internationals for the last 2 years. An athlete from Kent AC has won the Kent M40 5000m for 4 out of the last 5 years.

Road Running

We take part in the Southern vets road relays and in 2007 we will take part in the National Vets road relays. Our vets athletes regularly win vets prizes in local road races and SCVAC events.

The club ensured that we picked up where we left off last year in the first big test of 2012- this was with another triumph . And what a triumph it was. For not only did we have the individual winner with John Gilbert repeating his success of last year, but we also won the six and twelve to score competitions in resounding style.

It was another fantastic day for Kent AC at the county vets XC champs. We won individual medals, team medals and best of all we won back the Kent Messenger Cup.

It was a glorious sunny winter’s day in Tunbridge Wells.

Club 200 Draw [0]

Congratulations to Marcus Graham on winning the very first draw of The Club 200. We are delighted to reveal we sold all 49 balls and this will raise crucial funds for the club.

Surrey League Richmond Park [0]

Calling all runners! The cross country season is almost upon us and for a thrid year in a row we are looking to win our division of the Surrey League and get promoted to the top flight.

This year we are in the second division and the competition will be tougher.

Closing 2011 Assembly Race at Beckenham [0]

At the final Assembly league race of the season at Beckenham, not content to just win the A and B leagues the club went out in style with further emphatic wins for both strings. Rich Munn rounded off his campaign as first scorer and third overall and finished in second place in the individual competition won by Dean Lacy.

Multiple Team Wins at Victoria Park [0]

Congratulations to all who raced at Victoria Park's Assembley League on Thursday- it was a great turnout. So many runners we had to borrow extra numbers ! Our first 4 in the top 10 and second 4 in the top 20 gave us comfortable A & B string wins.

On Course at Victoria Park [0]

In the 3rd Assembly League Road Race, this time over a shortened course from the usual 3.5 mile one in Victoria Park, Hackney, Kent AC yet again showed their dominance by winning their 3rd successive team race in the 6 race series as well as coming 2nd in the B competition on the day.

Club Presentation on Sat 8th Jan [0]

It’s that time again, that once a year when we can all come together and celebrate both club and individual success. This year’s presentation will include special awards for those who medalled or made finals in the AAA Champs or South of England Champs, achieved a new Club Senior Record or even better – represented GB.

Vets M40 and M50 Teams Pick Up County Silver [0]

The seniors may have been making light work of the opposition in the Surrey League, but down in Tunbridge Wells the clubs vets once again put on a good show – but one that could have been even better had it not been for Len Reilly taking a tumble on the treacherous woodland part of the course.
