Runners from the club regularly compete at all levels of Cross Country running, inter-club, county, regional and national races - no matter what the conditions (well, mostly!!). This includes club championships, London Championships, Kent XC League, Kent County XC, South of the Thames Championships, Southern and National Championships.

The sage of Forest Hill (KP), had it just about right with his pre-race predictions for both the team’s finishing position and John’s tremendous seventh position in this top class cross country race.
Great runs at the South of England XC Champs [0]
Just like to say a big thank you to all those who ran, especially Pete who braved the 9 mile course just so we could finish a team of 12 runners and retain our title of first Kent club!
.Success for Kent athletes in London Schools’ XC [0]
Several young athletes from the club were competing in the London Schools’ Cross Country Championships, and one in particular distinguished himself. Robbie Fraser had what undoubtedly was his best run over the country in the senior boy’s race, coming home in third place .
Another win at the Surrey League [0]
Following last week’s outstanding result in the Kent County Championships, any worries of an anti-climax in the third Surrey league fixture were soon dispelled – probably on the train down when the strength of the team became clear.
Kent AC win the County Champs [0]
[0]The club ensured that we picked up where we left off last year in the first big test of 2012- this was with another triumph . And what a triumph it was. For not only did we have the individual winner with John Gilbert repeating his success of last year, but we also won the six and twelve to score competitions in resounding style.
South of the Thames XC [0]
On an old fashioned cross country course with woodland, hills, mud and fast trails that was new to all of our guys we came away pleasantly content with Team Bronze medals despite the absence of stalwarts Rich Munn and Chris Greenwood.
Kent Vets CC Champs [0]
It was another fantastic day for Kent AC at the county vets XC champs. We won individual medals, team medals and best of all we won back the Kent Messenger Cup.
It was a glorious sunny winter’s day in Tunbridge Wells.
South of the Thames 5m XC [0]
The first championship race of the Cross Country season was a mixed day for the club with some great results and some disappointments on the day.
The really good news was the storming run from Team Captain John Gilbert who took the field apart as he took an early lead and then pulled away steadily.
Surrey League Win at Lloyd Park [0]
Our 10th successive win since joining the league in 2009 has all but secured promotion to Div 1 but Reigate Priory AC will push us all the way if we are to win the league. Despite us scoring 50 points less than the first match it was almost matched by our main rivals we still have a lead of 54pts (368-422pts).
Surrey League Richmond Park [0]
Warm spring like conditions on a bone hard course greeted the runners in the opening race of the season but it was business as usual for 2hr 19min marathon man John Gilbert as he recorded his 6th successive win in the league.
