While the youngsters battled with the mud of Hampstead Heath the Vets enjoyed perfect conditions on the tight and twisting course that Kent athletes know well from many Kent League matches.The M40 result was never in doubt with all 4 scores in the first 10 for most of the race as they easily retained their own championship title. Luke was unlucky to miss out on an individual medal. The women followed up their fine peformance in the South of Thames championships by again gaining medals here. Simon Griffiths 18th and Jenny Davies 10th were lone runners in the Clubmans races.
