Congratulations to all the competitors in the 2008 Sidcup 10 on Sunday 10th Feb. There was strength in depth at the front of the field, producing some of the fastest times for a few years. Ben Noad of Highgate was first home, breaking 50 minutes in a time of 49:58. Blackheath & Bromley's Andrew Rayner got overall silver with last year's winner from the host club, James Connor taking bronze. The good conditions on the day combined with the fast flat course lead to 7 pbs for the 1st 10 home, and no doubt plenty more further down the field. Twenty athletes broke the hour for the 10 mile course, and 83 were inside 70 minutes.
