Another win for Kent AC's B Team at Reading, taking our unbeaten run to TWO matches. A few things went against us - the pole vault was cancelled due to the rain when we were looking good, we were diddled out of two points in the javelin by a deaf official ... - but a sprinkling of eligible A Teamers and some excellent performances saw us home (just).
John Brown equalled the B Team 200m record and there were pbs for Eric Crane (800m), James Connor (I think, 1500m) and Lloyd Kirlew (chase). Rawlston Morian under-performed badly this week, getting only two pbs (triple jump and 4x400m). Man of the Match though was Rich Munn for arranging the cars from Ladywell - oh, and for his MASSIVE pb in the 5k followed one hour later by another pb in the guest 1500m. Thanks also to Kevin Gray, who drove all the way to Reading with his family only for the pole vault to be abandoned before he'd entered the competition.
We are still fifth in the table:

A third place in our last match at Worthing on 5th August will achieve the most unlikely promotion since Glenn Roeder became manager of Newcastle.
