Great performances in the Southern Road Relays 23rd Sept 2006 Aldershot. Each team produced Kent AC's best ever performance. The M40's won bronze medals. The Senior Men came 5th with Jermaine doing the 3rd fastest leg of the day. The M50's came 11th and the SM B team came 46th.

On Saturday 23rd October the members of Kent AC once again contested in the SEAA Six Stage Road Relay Championships in Aldershot. The men’s A team of Mike Claff, Jermaine Mays, Noel Pollock, James Connor, Simon Taylor and Andrew Dunwoody finished an impressive fifth against top-class competition, a best ever result for Kent AC. This is further evidence of the progress the club is making under the guidance of Ken Pike, coming on the heels of many other ‘best ever’ results in track, road and cross-country competitions.

The men’s B team of Rich Munn, Lee Hine, Ralston Morian, Sylvan Kiwanuka, Mick Barlow and Andy Farqharson finished a creditable 46th in the same competition. This is particularly encouraging as the B team continues to be a proving ground for some our junior athletes who are coming through to challenge for slots on the A team.

Jermaine once again led the team in terms of individual performances. He produced the third fastest overall time of the day, a best ever performance for Jermaine, putting him among illustrious company of European and Commonwealth medal winners. Other notable performances came from Noel Pollock who ran the joint fastest time of the day on leg three and for Mike Claff who has been on a long road to recovery from injury and is now establishing himself as an A team regular.
