Kent AC young athletes did us proud with two finalists and three medals.

Inter boys: Rudi Francis found his 1st year in the Inter boys tough but handled himself well and made the semi finals and placed 5th with time of 11.47secs (+1.9 wind) in the 100m. He was unlucky when his London team was disqualified in the relay.

Soon to be new boy Frank Nouble run very well but the standard was too good. He ran 22.93secs (-1.0 wind) in the 200m. He's a name for the future if we can prize him away from playing football for Chelsea FC.

Senior boys: Antoni Davis-Philips made his 1st appearance at the championship where he made the final, finishing 7th in 400m hurdles with a time of 56.96secs in very windy conditions.

Matthew Wepke should have really won this 200m but his start let him down in the final. He still managed a bronze medal (3rd) with 22.20secs. He was also part of the London relay team which finish with the silver medal (2nd) in a time of 42.14secs, winning team 41.73secs.

Inter boys: l almost forgot about Lee Hamilton's silver medal in a new pb time in the 400m hurdles. He ran very well throughout but took the final hurdle badly and it cost him. He shouldnt be disappointed because it was a good race.
