A busy weekend saw Kent AC runners competing at a number of events. Saturday 6th October saw the start of the 2007-08 Cross Country season with the Kent XC League match at Sparrows Den. The senior mens team finished in 6th place. The junior men had an excellent performance in a very strong field, and there was an excellent turn out for the ladies team.
Sunday 7th October saw the Chichester 10k, with a field stronger as a very mature piece of camenbert. The Kent AC team came a fantastic 4th in the AAA's championships and in the SEAA Champs, led home by Jermaine Mays who finished a superb 2nd overall.
We also had runners at the Sittingbourne 10 mile road race, and the Dulwich 10k for those who liked to remain in South East London.
