Another fine result although, rather disappointingly, we seem to have dropped down the table a couple of places to 18th. This is down to some freakish results elsewhere. We've been overtaken by Newham, WSEH and the oddly named Marshall Milton Keynes, who all scored big points in their home matches. If only the table was done on match points not league points, we'd be 11th.

Highlights included two pb's from Man of the Match Wesley Eversley in the long and high jumps (particularly impressive since they were taking place simultaneously), a double first from James and Marc in the 5k, the Rutherford boys leading us home in the 4x4 relay, and the welcome return of Victor Barzey. We were also privileged to witness two of the most blatant false starts in history in the 100m and 200m.

The final match of the season is on 4th August in Newham, where we're up against Yeovil (very good), Newham (very good at home), Milton Keynes, and Ipswich Harriers. We need a third place to be sure of staying up. Fourth will mean a nervous look at the table later that night. Fifth could signal the start of a legal dispute to rival the Carlos Tevez affair.
