This year the Southern was along way North and East, out in the far reaches of East Anglia. Holkham Hall, with its Deer park and roaming pheasants was a grand setting for the event, if somewhat isolated. With this and other racing committments, only James Connor from the senior mens team ran in the race. James came an excellent 21st out of a field of 553 finishers.

Our main excursion of the Cross Country season will be the National in Sunderland, where we will put out a full team, plus a big group of vocal (and not so vocal) supporters.
