This years AAA's u20/23 champions and World Junior Trials was probably the most sucessful for Kent AC athletics. The atheltes suffered from a windy Bedford track with wind speeds of up to 6.8 which causes problems for those looking for qualifying times. Jeffrey Lawal–Balogun won the 200m and Matthew Burton came 3rd in the TJ, his 1st competition after injury. Antoni made the 400m Hurdles final and run an excellent race in windy conditions and would have had a very good pb. Lawrence Woodbridge obtained the English Schools qualifying time in the 400m heats. Peter Morgan also run a respectable time in the 400m heats bearing in mind he he hadnt train for a week or so due to exams which he finished the night before the competition.
