| Details | Ladywell Track, London, SE6. Annual club paarlauf - all welcome. Teams of two have to complete 16 laps, each team decides how they split up their legs, you just have to get the baton round the track 16 times. Teams will be chosen on the night. All runners are ranked based on current performance. The top ranked runner is teamed with the bottom, the second with the second-to-bottom, etc. So all the teams should be roughly equal. It's a good fun session, so highly recommended. | ||

The annual Kent AC Club Paarlauf took place at a chilly (well, freezing) Ladywell stadium last night, with ten teams competing to get the baton round 16 laps in whatever combination of distances they felt best. First team home was George Quinn and Callum Davidson, who beat Andy Murray (no, not that one) and GB international Conrad Williams into second place. Lee Hine and Quazar Mays picked up the bronze (well, they would have done if there'd been one).
Congratulations to George and Callum, who received a voucher from The Runners Shop, Kent AC t-shirts and the admiration of all present. Thanks to Pete Boxshall for organising it, and to Stuart Scott and Adrian Musson for helping me figure out what the hell was going on. Sadly Adrian's watch froze, so we don't have times, but we do have the finishing positions:
1. George/Callum
2. Andy/Conrad
3. Lee/Quazar
4. Alfie/Julian
5. Rawlston/Andy
6. Ben/Ted/The other Lee
7. Theo/Bernie
8. Claire/Clare/Sheryl
9. Carol/Harriet/Ginny
