For the juniors we only had 2 under 17's and 2 under 20's for this fixture but they all acquitted themselves well. On a very demanding course at Mote Park Alfie Grimsey improved on the last fixture by coming home 2nd in his race, just behind the talented Seb Harding and not that far behind the winner of the race - one of the Tyler brothers who was in the under 20 section. George Quinn continues to show his appetite for cross country with another fine run coming home in in 6th place. In the under 20's Tom Warr running his first cross country for a while came in a creditable 8th and not far behind making his debut was Hassan Davies in 9th. Hassan has speed to burn and given this was his first cross country race it was an impressive debut. He was even undaunted by a fall on the second lap.

Again, we could only muster three runners in the seniors. Lee Haze was a solid 47th in what was a bigger field than the first race. Adam Morton, our regular man in the Kent league, came home in 105th whilst super vet Ted Hadlow finished ahead of a fair number of younger runners in 139th.
