Report from Rob Moye on the B-team's opening Southern League Div 1 match at Battersea Park.

You can tell I'm not the B Team Manager anymore, it's taken me a whole
FOUR DAYS to type up and email round the results from Saturday's opener
at Battersea Park. I can feel the Statistics Police on my case already.
Anyway, a battling fourth place against strong opposition was a good
performance. Lots of guests, which is always a pleasure, and several
very promising debuts, not least from Paul Ujah, who broke the club high
jump record, and Lawrence Woolridge, who won the A string 400m and the
first leg of the 4x400m. Good luck in the British League, chaps, though
the bizarre rules of the Southern League means we get to keep you for
most of the season if you fancy it.

The next match is on May 17th at Lee Valley, 1pm start.
