Oh dear, another bad day for the B team in Essex (is there any other sort of day in Essex?). We were up against exceptionally strong opposition and there were some good performances, but we'll always struggle in this Division when we can't fill all of the events. I haven't been sent the current league table yet, but I think it's safe to
assume that, to quote Alan Hansen, we're mired in a relegation dog-fight and we're scrapping for our lives.

Other pundits may differ, but I think we're going to need a second place at Ladywell on 12th July to have a decent chance of staying up. I've no doubt that Ken and Andy, as we speak, will be drawing up a list of eligible A Team and other elite performers who can compete that day.

If you're one of them, cancel your plans, forget about your niggling injuries and put yourself in the frame to do something marvellous for your Club.
