The last of the indoor results as the winter season comes to a close. The indoor season was closed last weekend by an incredible run by Dwain Chambers to win the European Indoor 60m in by running 6.42secs in the semi and 6.46secs in the final. The final had a recognised face from Ladywell arena. Ryan Moseley, training partner of Jon Browne and Jeffrey Lawal-Balogun made the final in his 1st season as a full time athlete representing Austria.
The indoor season saw Kent AC athletes equip themselves well against the best in the country, Jeffrey in particular and Jon Browne raced the best in the country, Craig Pickering and Chambers and others a few times. Feb and March saw more pbs and plenty of medals won at the Kents, Surreys, British master and Birmingham Games. Paul Egboh also broke into the exclusive under 7 seconds club for the 1st time.
The UK Indoor trials saw the club's only 2 representatives disqualified in the 60m and 200m. Jeffrey was DQ in the 60m semi final along with Craig Pickering. Jon Browne was also DQ in his 200m semi final, after running a pb in his heat.
