The 2009 indoor season has started very well for Kent AC sprinters. Our athletes are racing nearly every week and most are already getting very close to their indoor pbs.
Conrad Williams has equal his 60m pb and set 200m pb, Matthew Wekpe set a new pb and Jeffrey Lawal-Balogun set 3 60m pbs on his way to bronze medal at the South Of England champs.

Our new HCA athlete Darren Green also set a new pb. Joe Appiah had the privillege of having Craig Pickering in his heat. In a thrilling final where Craig Pickering knowing that Jeffrey and Ryan Moseley has posted fastest times in the semi's, l think bottled it. He walked off the track 2 minutes before the start of the race. It was a great final won by Ryan Moseley in a pb time of 6.65secs, with Jeffrey 3rd 6.69secs, also a pb. Nice to see both ex training partners fighting it out to the line and both being very pleased with the race and the time. The winning time and in fact the 2nd and 3rd positions were confirmed as the fastest by GB athletes this year.
