Dear All, Well, I never thought I'd ever type these words ... "The B Team is top of Division One of the Southern League".

Our tactic of targeting the first, traditionally weak match of the season and, er, exploiting the new Southern League rules by using a number of A Team athletes really paid off with a convincing win at our "home" match. Not surprisingly, a lot of new B Team records were set - seven in fact, plus Matthew equalled Jeffrey's 100m record.

The B Team boys done good too though, with a number of pb's and a lot of guests eager to show off their early season form to stake a place in the team. The next match is on 16th May at Milton Keynes.

If you want to climb aboard this locomotive of athletic success, now's your chance to tell me that you want to compete. Attached are Saturday's results, the updated B Team records, and the current league table (did I mention that we're top?). If you're feeling anything like me today, you'll try to avoid work for a bit longer by studying them in detail until it's home time.
