Late news in, some great performances at the World Trials on 10/11/12 July 2009. Jermaine Mays won the 1500m in 3.41:26, followed by Lee Emanual of Sheffield in 3:41.82 and Morpeth's Nick McCormick in 3:42.21 In the heats Jermaine ran 3.46:27, and Ben Tickner 3.49:02.

 In the 400m Conrad Williams finished second in the final in 46.13. Basingstoke's Robert Tobin won the 400m title in 45.84. In the heats Conrad ran 47.76 and Aaron McCammon 49.78. Conrad then won his semi in 45.83.

Jonathon Browne ran a seasons best in the 200m semis of 21.79. Jeffrey won his semi in 20.91 and came 4th in the final in 20.99.
