In the English Half Marathon at Warrington in pouring rain and high winds James Connor and John Gilbert showed their class by running away from the entire field of 2500 runners and took the first two places in times of 67 min 47 secs and 68min 18sec respectively to showchase our club colours in the NW of England.

James said "I found it quite tough today as it was so cold. At the six mile mark my legs felt like they were going to cramp up but as the last few miles are downhill it became comfier. I am really pleased with my run".

Great result to see two Kent AC vests up at the very front of the field. And further congrats to James Connor in setting a new course record in the process.
