A very satisfactory 2nd place for the B Team at Erith on Saturday. We were stronger in most events than we had been in the first match, especially in the throws, where Albert, Courtney and Rawlston showed what a difference it makes when we can fill these events.

Three new B Team records were set in the 100m (Conrad), 5000m (Paul Molyneux on his debut for the club), and the 4x400m (Ahmed, Aaron M, Conrad and Eon). We also won both relays - see if you can guess which one was comfortable and which one was the tight finish. I don't keep track of everyone's pb's owing to the fact that I still have something that resembles a life, but I know that there's a long list of people who set new personal bests, many by some distance: Tom, Aaron B, Bimian, Ahmed, George, Courtney and Emmanuel can all take a well-deserved bow. Courtney won Man of the Match for his 12 points, three pb's and excellent first leg in the 4x100m. He was run close by Rawlston, who also got 12 points doing events he's not supposed to.

Another good result at Twickenham on 5th June and we'll be positively mid-table.
