44th Open 5 Race to be held on the usual flat and very fast course in Victoria Park. Organised by Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets AC.

It is a race with a tremendous history and one in which most of the fastest and best known runners have competed over the years. In 2009 we introduced electronic timing and this year, with a firm platform in place, we are aiming at providing a truly competitive environment for both teams and individuals. As part of this we have put in place a prize list that surpasses anything that we have seen before - in the hope that it will attract talent both at an individual and inter club team level. Given that we have a very fast and accurate course, that we use electronic timing and now that we have introduced an especially attractive prize list
