It was another strong performance from the club and although Cambridge Harriers scored an impressive1,2,3 to win the A Team 4 to count , not only were our A string 2nd our B string won the B team race by a country mile and were in fact the third team overall. This puts us in a strong position leading in both the men’s team standings with 2 races to go.

Despite having a margin over our rivals we need to be careful not to slip up in the next Victoria park race. Please NOTE THE DATE FOR THIS HAS CHANGED TO THURSDAY AUGUST 18TH. As it falls in the middle of the holiday period attendance at this race in many past years has been patchy and after their victory last time Cambridge will be sniffing the chance of a comeback so let’s make sure we have a good turnout. So anyone who is around on that date it would be great if they could turnout even if it is only as a training run at something less than all out.
