An impressive run at the weekend saw James Connor break the course record on the Essex 20 mile course at Great Bromley, Colchester by over 2 minutes in a time of 1:44.15 which ranks him as the fastest over the distance in the UK since 2005. The previous best on this course was 1:46:21 which James set last year prior to running a 2:21 Marathon at London. Second place was Paul Molyneux from Springfield Striders, who is first claim for Kent AC on the track ran a pb 1:46.24. Paul is looking to improve on his 2:23 Marathon that he set last year in Paris and Chicago.
