Saturday 9th April saw Kent AC once again take its place on the start line of the National 12 Stage Road Relay Championships. This year’s team featured no less than 5 debutants alongside some of the familiar stalwarts who know their way around the Sutton Park course very well indeed.

Throughout the 4 hours and 33 minutes it took for the team to complete the 12 legs our position ebbed and flowed with the final position of 24th evidence of a solid team performance in a high standard event.

Kent AC performance of the day was Jermaine Mays who showed everyone that his preparations for the track season are coming along very well with a time of 14:05 for a short leg. This placed him as second fastest man of the day overall and we hope it’s a sign of even better things to come!

Congratulations and thanks to the whole team, who all ran well on the day and continued our proud record in this event.
