OFF THE MARK AT THE SAL
Noteworthy performances of the day include wins in the 5000m from Joe Hartley and in the 1500m from Noah Armitage-Hookes as well as some great performances in the sprints against some talented opposition from Blackheath & Bromley.
The club finished 4th on the day out of 5 clubs (full results available online soon). The great news about this year’s league is that only our best day is used in the overall league.
With this in mind let’s really target the next fixture. It is also at Eltham on Sunday 11th July – it’s a fantastic and friendly day, so it would be great to see more Kent members involved.
Please contact Ian if you are available to volunteer. Qualified officials are particularly needed but no experience is necessary.

BIG HALF PLACES
Ted Aston has sorted Community places for our club and is able to allocate these to runners on a first-come basis. The remaining names will be placed on a waiting list.
Below is the link for you to register an interest in a place. I will then send the registration link when you will have 72 hours to claim your place and pay. There is a registration fee of £10 per entry that is payable directly by the athlete to the organisers through their system.
Once you’ve raced to register, the place will be given to the next person on the waiting list if you don’t claim your place within the 72 hour period. Please note:
A £10 Community place entry fee will be paid directly by you to the Big Half Organisers within 3 days of receiving the entry link
The place will be handed onto others if you miss the 3 day deadline
Applications are non refundable
Places are non transferable
Places from the original event date still stand and an email from the organisers should have been received.
