HOT AND SUNNY LAST SAL OF THE YEAR
Notable performances include:
-Alexa Parker with a well deserved PB in the 1500m with 4.37
-It was great to see Amelia Pettitt running well again with 18.32 in the 5000m. Sarah Hanley who is also returning from injury ran fantastically to get 19.14
-Daniel Acheampong has been a regular all year and got a well deserved PB of 11.65 in the 100m
-Joe Appiah was close to adding to his record collection in the long jump with a huge 6.02 (1cm away from the M50 British record!). He also showed his class by jumping 1.65 in the high jump (special mention too to James Bowler for a SB clearing 1.55m) and 12.09 in the triple jump
As it was the last match of the season, thanks to everyone who has turned up all year. It’s been a pleasure and I am already looking forward to next year’s fixtures.
