SURREY LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS
Another fantastic and enjoyable day for Kent AC at the Surrey League yesterday, well done to all who took part.
Mei Eden Green 39th U13
Alice Hales 42nd U13
Our A team finished 11th with Alexa (20th), Sarah (30th), Jen B (42nd), Teresa (60th), Wendy (79th).
Our B team finished 20th.
Our A team finished 4th:
11 – Nick Torry (2nd Claim)
16 – Owen Hind
29 – John Gilbert
35 – Chris Bus
39 – Ben Harding
42 – Chris McGurk
50 – Sean Fitzpatrick
52 – Michael O’Shea
53 – Dame Dibaba
58 – Cameron Dockerill
Max Nicholls and Ross Braden both 2nd claim runners finished closely behind Nick, unfortunately not able to count to our team but great running regardless! Joe Vis, also second claim, ran well finishing 47th.
The B team also had a good day finishing 4th (B team).
Other achievements include top 2 on the 40-49 age category for Nick Torry and John Gilbert, 2nd for Will Pitt in the 50-59, and 2nd for Roger Beardsworth in the 60+.
There will be food & drink, music, dancing etc.

CROSS COUNTRY – DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
Cross Country season is well and truly upon us and there are many many opportunities for you to get involved in the lead up to the end of the year. Please consider which races you will be committing to and let Dan Pettitt or Sarah Hanley know using the links below!
Reminder: All members are encouraged to come along and run! Please keep Sarah and Dan up to date with your availability if anything changes on the day.

Points of interest include:
1. Proposed changes to club rules. The following Committee posts need to be created:
– Juniors Secretary
– Track Administration Officer
and the following post removed
– Junior Athletes Representative
Committee posts are described in the club rules, hence the requirement for the rule change.
2. Election of Officers.
This is a regular item on the agenda of the AGM. Posts are open for nomination although generally most post holders are expected to continue. That said, we are particularly interested to hear from any members who may wish to be considered for the following posts:
– Membership Secretary (potentially as a job-share)
– Welfare Officer (woman; job-share/maternity cover)
– Club Championships Organiser(s)
– Officials Secretary

Please note that individuals are permitted to do their own sessions during club opening times, but coached group sessions continue to take priority.
November track pass here
To make life easier for parents/guardians we have a 2021 track pass option. One single payment for the remainder of the year is now available.
Please purchase your Ladywell 2021 or November £5 junior monthly track pass in advance here. When purchasing the track pass can parents/guardians please enter the athlete’s name when completing the transaction.
