TRAINING CANCELLED TUESDAY 19 JULY
You will be aware that the government has imposed an unprecedented Red Weather Warning for Monday and Tuesday this week and a national emergency has been declared, with temperatures possibly reaching 41C (106F).
England Athletic advice on hot weather is to pay attention to met office advice and the health protection agency’s advice is to avoid exercise.
Consequently, senior members of the committee have taken the difficult decision that no formal Kent AC coaching sessions will take place at the track on Tuesday 19th July 2022 for both senior and junior groups.
The track will be open and seniors will be able to train as individuals. But you should be mindful of the advice being given about the exceptional circumstances.
