B Team match at Parliament Hill - 27 June 2009
A disappointing fifth place for the B Team in a shambolic match at Parliament Hill.
.SL Match 3 Mile End
That's more like it. Third equal for the B team in a tight and high-quality match at Mile End on Saturday. A really good team spirit, twenty competing athletes, and some good individual performances made for the most satisfying result of the season so far in my book.
SL Match 2 Milton Keynes
Back down to earth with a bump for the B team on Saturday at Milton Keynes. Last place and we were lucky to get that. High quality opposition, strong winds and, in particular, a weakened team made for a difficult day all round.
SL Match 1 Sutcliffe Park
Dear All, Well, I never thought I'd ever type these words ... "The B Team is top of Division One of the Southern League".
Our tactic of targeting the first, traditionally weak match of the season and, er, exploiting the new Southern League rules by using a number of A Team athletes really paid off with a convincing win at our "home" match.
12 stage national road relays
If any one would like to come along to support the 12 stage team in the National Road Relays in Sutton Coldfield the plan is to meet at Marylebone at 8am on Saturday. Ken is organising tickets there.
Southern 12 Stage Race Report
On Sunday 5th April Kent AC once again travelled to Milton Keynes to contest the Southern 12 Stage Road Relays. This year’s team was a true blend of youth and experience with too many years to mention separating the ages of our youngest and oldest runners.

National XC Champs
Well done to all those who made it to Parliament Hill on Saturday. We had another solid team performance at the home of cross country, and my legs can tell you that they are very relieved that it was the last race of this season.
National XC Race Details
This weekend the cross country season finally comes to an end. We are left with one last test - the bog that awaits us at Parliament Hill. Given the weather this last month, Parly Hill will make the Southern look like a putting green!

The 2009 Sidcup 10
Many congratulations to all competitors in todays Sidcup 10 road race. We had a very strong field this year with 30 athletes running under 60mins, many of these were PBs. This year saw a highly competitive race with the top 3 finishing just 4 seconds apart and the top 2 breaking the 50 minute barrier.
