Why Join Kent AC – the benefits

Because you will improve your running…a lot!

Kent AC has members of all speeds and abilities, from International athletes to juniors and beginners so you’ll always be able to find someone just a little faster than you to chase after. Even if you don’t want to enter races, just finding that you can actually run faster than you thought possible is massively empowering. You can also take part in our club-organized training groups & coaching sessions. Our coaches or club volunteers will work with you to improve your technique and performance so all you need to do is turn up and give it a go.

By joining Kent AC, you’ll get your own personal squad of cheerleaders. Not only will you have a group of people who will encourage you to take steps towards reaching your goals, you’ll also get a plethora of training tips and advice, and you’ll always have people to cheer you on at races – when the going gets tough, that can make a difference! Your fellow members want to see you achieve your goals – whether that’s to run a 5K, try sprinting or get a new marathon PB – and will be a fantastic source of encouragement and support. 

Representing the club in competition is encouraged, with opportunities in the National road relays, local, regional and national cross country, to name a few. 

If you are keen to try us out, please join us at Ladywell Arena [https://www.fusion-lifestyle.com/centres/ladywell-arena] at 6.45pm on a Tuesday night, ready to train. Ask for the Kent AC Welcome Coordinator, and they will discuss your ability and advise on the most appropriate group to join on the night.
