SCORES ON THE DOORS
XC Handicap results are in from the first round of cross country last weekend! As a reminder these are calculated as a performance against your handicap, adjusted for the number of Kent finishers in that race.
For example, if your handicap was 5 and you were 4th Kent finisher on that day (in an average sized field), then your resulting score would be -1.
Across the winter it’s your best/lowest five scores that contribute overall (out of the 4 Surrey Leagues, 2 SoT races, Kent County, Southerns & Nationals).
Women
1) Lucy Elms -1.5
2) Alexa Parker -0.4
3) Susanna Davies -0.3
Men
1) Isaac Maxwell -10.0
=2) Cameron Dockerill, Rob Sesemann, James Boustead, Ian Ellwood, John Gilchrist -5.0
Full results from the first fixture are here: women’s handicap scores and men’s handicap scores.

UPCOMING CROSS COUNTRY RACES
Surrey League Match 2, Wimbledon Common – Saturday 12th November
South of Thames 5 miles, Lloyd Park, Croydon – Saturday 26th November
As per usual sign up on the spreadsheet here
Thanks to those who ran at the first Surrey League of the season at Effingham, there were some encouraging performances particularly for the women who came 3rd in the match.
We need to have a higher turn out (particularly for the men!) at the next race in Wimbledon, which is going to be a corker so don’t miss out!
As per usual, we will follow both races with a post-race debrief/social in a local pub, so even more reason to put your name down.
