A starter for 10k and full steam ahead to Lloyd!
KENT AC NEWS BULLETIN
5 FEBRUARY 2023
The Night of the 10,000m PBs might now be confirmed for May, but it was a frosty February morning that saw Kent AC dominate the pavements of London over the 10k distance today. A huge congratulations to Che Compton for winning the Victoria Park 10km in a PB of 32:50- no less than the fastest V45 in the country this year. Meanwhile Owen Hind stormed to 7th male place at the London Winter Run in 33:04.
Over in Lee Valley at the U20/Senior Southern Indoor Championships, Harry Forman Willshaw came a fantastic 4th place in the final of the U20M 800m race in 1:59, after previously winning his heat.
What a way to set the stage for a big week for Kent AC at Lloyd Park next Saturday…

If you would like to be a pacer, then please fill in this spreadsheet with times that you would be happy to pace. All abilities and times are welcome, so the more the merrier!
Or if you would like to be paced to a specific time, then also fill in the sheet and we will try to ensure that there is a pacer for you. (Jake Wightman need not apply after his trip to Dulwich on New Years Eve!)
