FEEL THE RHYTHM
Matthew joined the club as a talented junior athlete and still holds the U17 and U20 club records over the 60m, having also competed for the club in SAL and BAL events numerous times over the years.
The current Jamaican quartet took the final spot in the 28-sled field for China, with Lance Corporal Shanwayne Stephens expected to pilot the sled alongside Rolando Reid, Ashley Watson and Matthew Wekpe – who have been push athletes in all of his four-man races this season.
The club wishes all the best to Matthew and rest of his team for the upcoming Winter Olympics!
