LONDON INDOOR CHAMPS
Tess Hepple – 60m, 200m & Long Jump U13 Girls
Sapphire Bruni – 60m U13 Girls
Kyros Olewunne – 60m U13 Boys
Ellie Hepple – 60m & Long Jump U17 Girls
Amelie Hotton – 200m U15 Girls
Here’s coach Hassan’s review from the day:
Ellie Ran 8.50 secs in 60m and came 2nd. Unfortunately she had a fall just before the line when leading the race. First place next time Ellie! In the Long Jump she achieved 4.26m, a fantastic result.
Kyros won his 60m in 7.94, Amazing for someone new to athletics and shows great potential.
Sapphire ran 8.43 in her 60m and came 3rd. Stunning performance considering her injury problems this season.
Amelie ran 30.83 in her 200m in second place, competed really well and overcame her nerves. Great result.
Tess ran 8.68 for 60m to come second, 4.06 in the Long Jump (PB) and 30.94 in 200m. Busy day for her and has made massive improvements from her last indoor event.
Great set of results. Well done everyone.

VET WOMEN’S SURVEY
Aged 35 or over? It’s not too late to complete the Vet’s Survey, which is your opportunity to share your thoughts on vet activity at Kent AC for the year. Take the survey here.
Nicky Hayes, our very own vet champ, would really like to hear from new club members so that they can express your views and be included in all the activities planned for the coming year. More information coming soon.
For those vet women who love a cross country run, we recommend the British Masters XC Champs, Tonbridge. This meet takes place on 12 March. Watch out for email and WhatsApps on the subject, or contact Nicky direct or at the track, where you’ll find Nicky running with the C (Adrian’s) group.
