Ma’am up, it’s only 25 laps…
KENT AC NEWS BULLETIN
5 June 2022
In the slightly longer term, it’s that 25-times round the track you’ve all been waiting for: The Ladywell 10000. Read on to register your interest. At least it’s not the 70 laps challenge that was pitched for this Jubilee weekend … most of our members decided to go with a pleasantly scenic parkrun.
Congratulations to Jake Simmonds (a no-scan blip), Russell Bentley (15.40), Chris Buseileh (15.44) and Chris Greenwood (15.45), in the Kent AC shoot-out at Dulwich.
More scenically, a slightly more leisurely, it was a family outing for Abbie Clyndes, Joe Hartley and wee Bonnie at Beckenham, and a late-show up for sprinting Jonathan Tipper:
As it’s a slow week, we thought we’d also mention our very own Group C pageant that took place on the long slow Sunday run; a fitting tribute from two old birds to another:
SAL BATTERSEA: ONE WEEK TO GO
Having won the first fixture of the season, we are looking to keep the momentum going and target promotion this year, which means we need to get people turning out in every event.
The SAL is a track and field fixture suitable for all abilities, so please get involved if you are interested in competing for the club. Just put your name on the spreadsheet here

This will likely suit members who can’t make training sessions but would like to train in the morning/lunchtime/evening.
