Track stars continue to shine
KENT AC NEWS BULLETIN
28 August 2022
Ladywell track had just enough time to recover from the exuberant festival of running that was last Sunday’s 10K champs, before the last-lap bell was wheeled out again last Thursday. This time, it was ringing for runners testing themselves on that tricky sweet spot between endurance and eye-popping speed: the 3,000m. Other than that, it’s been a bit of a recovery week for Kent AC athletes, many of whom are now saving themselves for September’s top diary date, The Big Half, and, a month later, the Big One – TCS London Marathon – (new sponsor, Tata Consultancy Services. Who remembers Mars?)
Most pertinent, we have the details of the after parties: the post-training social this Tuesday and the post- Big Half knees-up as organised by the inimitable Katie Rowland. Read on for 3k results and party dates for the diary.

YOUR NEWSLETTER NEEDS YOU
Literate?
Interested in Kent AC (or even a little in love with this gorgeous, sexy club?)
A tiny bit obsessive about running?
Keen to help?
We need another hand on the newsletter tiller, as Georgina and Jamie will be standing down: many thanks to you both!
It makes sense to have three editors, who can type in the news every third week. It’s not particularly hard work, basically a couple of hours at the keyboard on a Sunday afternoon. All the coaches and Kent AC Committee members are very diligent in providing the copy. A perfect way to rest your legs after a Sunday run, which is exactly what I am doing now.
If you think you can help the newsletter’s managing editors, Amelia and Dan, who do a fantastic job running all the communications, please contact them or drop me (Ronnie) a line on .
